Caravelle ticks all the boxes
Every now and then at Southern Mobility Vehicles in Sussex, we acquire a specially adapted model that really excites us – like the VW Caravelle that has just come in, for example! We know what our customers look for in a wheelchair access vehicle, and this pristine Volkswagen model certainly ticks all the right boxes in that regard; it is packed with features that will appeal to many of our disabled customers. This 2013 model, with only 8,000 miles on the clock, offers the best of both worlds in many ways: the vehicle still smells and looks as good as new, but it is already over the running-in phase that even the most technologically advanced cars have to go through before they settle.
This 2.0 litre diesel, automatic MPV is a rare conversion - fitted out by Brook Miller – and has the benefit of an automatic tailgate and ramp, plus a lowered floor. Getting in and out couldn’t be easier, and there is room for two wheelchairs, with two rear seats and driver and passenger seats upfront. The full list of features goes on, and includes power assisted steering, anti-lock brakes, cruise control, air-con, multiple airbags, privacy glass, and electric windows. Finished in a beautiful shade of metallic midnight blue, this vehicle has had one previous owner, and comes with a full service history.
As far as getting around or touring goes, wheelchair adapted cars don’t come any better than this, which is why we’re delighted to have this one for sale, although we don’t expect it to be around for long! If you do happen to miss out on the Caravelle this time, keep checking this site regularly, as we are planning to run some special offers with great reductions on selected vehicles in the very near future.
